Kris to play at Wal-Mart shareholders meeting tomorrow & other news

Kris is set to play at tomorrow's shareholder meeting. If you wondering how relevant this could be, the super retailer's location is in Kris's home state of Arkansas. According to mjsbiblog, Kris and Katy were home in Conway yesterday, and are heading to Fayetteville, AR so Kris can play at the Wal-Mart shareholders' meeting. It is not known what time he will play, but he will play & sing "No Boundaries". In the past Walmart has provided a live feed to the meeting. A rumor via twitter says that Smokey Robinson and David Archuleta may also appear and perform, but it is not known. I will post more details when i get them.

Rumor: Kris on Jive Records

That's what it seems like: Kris has been signed to one of Sony's Subsidaries: Jive. On this week and last week's Billboard charts, No Boundaries has been listed to 19/Jive records. It has been speculated that Kris would either be signed with Jive or Sony's other company RCA. Jive tends to deal with pop-esque artists, while RCA is more rock/alternative, and Adam is expected to sign with them. Last year's runner-up David "Archie" Archuleta signed with Jive, as did season six winner Jordin Sparks. This year's fourth-place finalist, Allison Iraheta has also been rumored to sign with Jive. Other notable artists with Jive include pop queen Brittney Spears, alternative band Bowling for Soup, Hip-Hop/R&B and stars Chris Brown, T-Pain, Ciara and Lil' Mama,pop guys Justin Timberlake and Nick Lachey, and star Vitamin C, and formerly the Spice Girls. Hopefully, Kris will still have a rockin (or pop/rock oriented) new album! No matter if it was RCA or Jive.

Billboard Update

Even though they came down, Kris's songs hold strong on the Billboard. No Boundaries is #8 on Hot Digital Songs, and #23 on the Hot 100. Heartless is #33 on the Hot 100, and #11 on Digital Songs.
