Read more...Kris Allen: The winner is incredibly unassuming but engaging on stage. He brings back his key song “Heartless,” then skips “No Boundaries” in favor of a great Killers tune that keeps the crowd going. An emotive “Ain’t No Sunshine” leads into the sing-a-long Beatles fav “Hey Jude.”
The show ended with “Don’t Stop Believin’” and a brief “Na na na na, hey, hey, hey, goodbye.” Everyone seemed happy and honestly, this concert proved how deep the top 10 really was — even without Alexis Grace. I realliy thought it was the most consistent, if not the most entertaining of the eight “Idols Live” concerts I’ve been to. Solid production values, song choices and talent across the board.
